Belgian beer (1): Servais

Servais (1807-2007), original authentic blond beer of high fermentation. (Alcohol = 5,5%)



From: Brewery "Proef" Brasserie @ Lochristi (Belgium), for "Streekproducten Centrum Halle" and "vzw De Lambikstoempers".

Ingredients: water, malt, hops and yeast. Evolution of the flavour in the bottle. Filtered, not pasteurised.

Tasted: a very nice and full flavour, with a high degree of acidity and a deep after-taste. Not just an ordinary beer, something for gastronomers!
